Getting started

Recommended first-session flow to get a live workspace and begin monitoring backlinks immediately.

First-day goal

Leave the initial setup with:

  1. An active workspace.
  2. At least one protected domain.
  3. An initial backlink batch imported.
  4. Basic alerts enabled.

Recommended flow

1. Create your account and enter onboarding

After sign-up, TheLinkHub guides you through onboarding so you can create the first domain and import backlinks without manually exploring every page first.

2. Add the domain you want to protect

Start with the domain, folder, or project that has the highest ranking, revenue, or lead impact.

3. Import backlinks

The fastest starting points are:

  • manual entry for a quick test,
  • bulk URL paste,
  • CSV import,
  • Ahrefs import when you want to prioritize high-value links first.

4. Review the main dashboard

The dashboard summarizes volume, current states, recent alerts, top domains, and open issues. If it feels empty, the usual cause is missing backlinks or a weak first domain selection.

5. Configure notifications

Start with the critical events:

  • backlink_lost
  • health_critical
  • health_warning
  • health_recovered

Then add Slack or webhooks if your team already works with automation.
