Onboarding and domains

How to complete onboarding, create the first domain, and avoid common setup mistakes.

Onboarding flow

The current onboarding is split into short steps:

  1. Welcome and context.
  2. First domain setup.
  3. Initial backlink upload.
  4. Product tour of the main areas.

Best practices for the first domain

  • Start with the domain or section with the clearest business impact.
  • Use clear naming if you expect multiple teams or clients later.
  • Do not add secondary domains too early if the main import is not stable yet.

Common issues

The onboarding flow does not progress

Usually a required field is still invalid or a previous step is incomplete.

The domain already exists

TheLinkHub prevents duplicates at workspace level. Check whether the domain was added with or without www.
